Fall Coho Madness

In the first two weeks of September returning Coho Salmon are plentiful. Most of these fish are in the 12-20lb range and are eager to feed and fight like the devil when caught. Double headers are common and the resulting confrontation is one you won't soon forget. The Coho struggle to spit your hook, combining acrobatics and screaming runs in the supreme effort to win their freedom.

If you like your Halibut and Ling Cod then this is the time for you. In May and June there's always a chance that schools of Chinook Salmon will show up and when they do the Salmon fishing really turns on!
